They were mugging her - she has to move the ball, pass quickly so she doesn’t get doubled.

She has struggled a lot. I feel for her. Outside if the 4Q of UNC she looks like she isn't 100 pct and I don't mean in respect to conditioning.

valiant effort by the Orange, good on Clemson for hanging in there. This is a big win for their program, can't hate that. Well maybe just a little.

Tiana looked exhausted in overtime. I think Q needed to give her a breather. Clemson doubled her all game and all game she tried to beat the double dribbling. Wasted a lot of time and down the stretch cost us a couple of turnovers and ultimately the game.

Refs gave Syracuse no breaks. Gave Clemson a bunch of lame flop calls for charges. Allowed a lot of contact on Tiana on those doubles.

Cardoso had a tough game. She will learn from it. She missed a lot of time with foul trouble and the backup center Djaldi-Tahdi had a remarkably bad game. Got beat down the court a lot, was clueless on defense and on offense, mostly stood around the perimeter and took 3s that had no chance of going in. She is a better player than that. Hope Finklea-Guity is able to return to the court soon. She would be a huge upgrade.

I had read in an earlier article that the medicine she still takes has an affect on her. So yes, they need to pace her better. A lot less subbing today for a coach who is always subbing. Serious credit for mounting that comeback on the road. Not many teams could come back from 25 down at halftime. Lesson learned hopefully is to not get down by 25 points. I wanted the win. I had to say almost but I walk away a little impressed for what they were able to accomplish.
