SU 82 at Columbia 88: Fri Mar 24, 7 PM

Thought Columbia was one of the best coached teams we played all season. Nice ball movement, and they could really shoot it from outside. They made our defense look bad most of the game.

When Fair is struggling, we are very likely to lose.

No offense to her but imho, the most talented player on the team is Woolley. Hoping we feature her more next year

Build around both and feed whichever is hottest game by game.

We essentially ran with 4 guards and a center this year. Gotta get some P5 level forwards and a center in the portal.
The one player who transferred and shouldn't have was Priscilla Williams, great shooter with size would have helped this team.
Instead got buried at USF.

This is well said. Good year for the cuse. 20 wins after a dumpster fire last year. Bottom line: defense has to be more consistent if we want to compete with the big dogs next year. Offense won’t be a problem next year either. Hopefully Georgia stays healthy all year next year.

Another Aussie shooter coming in should help, and at 6-2 has size.

I feel Latham is going to be a great addition. Adds a really versatile power forward. Need to add another C with strong post presence.
The other need is a knock down 3 point shooter. Woolly and fair are good but need that player that can hurt teams consistently from deep.
Coach Jack did an amazing job. Exceeded probably everyone’s expectations but her own. Really turned a bad situation into a strong foundation. Good recruiting classes coming in for both 23 and 24. Add a few pieces from the portal and stay healthy and this team will be dangerous.

This years experience with HCFLJ’ s plans and schemes will light the flame for future success of the program!

I hope Teisha gets her mojo back, gets back into a rhythm. She‘s so athletic, very good driver to the basket, stop and Pop ability, excellent rebounder. Not a very good 3 point shooter who needs to cut down turnovers. She has proven to be a difference maker, stuck with us through tough times, so I’m sticking with her and hoping she stays a good part of our resurgence.
