The school day games are fun, the kids really get into it. However 2 hours of tween girls screaming does a number on you.

Field trips are supposed to have an educational purpose. Not sure this qualifies.
Does it send a message that school isn’t really important?

When I was in school we went on field trips all the time. Cooperstown, the zoo, the movies, bowling. How is this any different than that unless I'm mistaken because you forgot to use the sarcasm font?

As far as the kids missing school from the above comment, this promotes goals. They get to see college life in a fun way. Going up to the "big university" will resonate in some of their minds. Goals.
