I was there for a while, kind of sitting the middle of both seats. We had a visitor stop by at the halfActually Rick, I think Kelly shifted over to my seat/

Hyman is my favorite. Happy to see her playing well again.
Vonn was Coach Q’s architect for the fast, pressing, platoon, run and gun 3 point strategy we used up to the Brittany Sykes - Brianna Butler years. He’s a professorial type, a huge analytics guy and innovative strategizer. I was unsure of his ability to motivate, successfully implement and connect with the players, to put his strategy into action. He seems at this early date, to be doing an admirable job. It’s an exciting, very fast paced pressure system that helps negate some of the need for as much height in the lineup - speed and conditioning are key. It also allows more players on the team to actually play, get experience and stay engaged so the fast pace and pressure can continue throughout the game. They are playing really hard in that press defense. Forcing lots of turnovers. They need to have a fast pace. If games slow down and become half court affairs, our lack of size is,going to kill us.
Great assessment Cherie. There was a row of chairs setup next to the bench, I think there was a picture of it earlier in the thread. For every time out the players that were on the floor sat and watched Read map out strategy on the board while the other players looked over his shoulder. Much, much different than Q's style.Vonn was Coach Q’s architect for the fast, pressing, platoon, run and gun 3 point strategy we used up to the Brittany Sykes - Brianna Butler years.
