I dislike UNC but screw Maryland and the stall ball they've played forever. Good to see them go home without another title considering they were anointed as undefeatable.

Next year will be totally different because of the rules change. With a 90 second possession clock, the premium will be moving the ball upfield FAST! And for defenses, RIDING HARD! Hopefully Gait has a bunch of really fast kids ready to go.
This year's problems stemmed largely, not exclusively, from a GK who ran hot and cold. Against MD, she couldn't have run any colder. Bad timing. The incoming GK is an All-American. Let's hope she pans out.
