SU ACCT scenarios for those who care

Looking at the standings / matchups here's the deal:

SU loss + BC loss: 2 way tie for 9th place which SU wins tiebreaker over BC via the reg. season sweep. #9 seed wearing road orange in our customary Noon Wednesday opener vs. Wake for sure if UNC wins. If UNC loses UNC and Wake split their series and I'm not digging deeper into their tiebreaker beyond that if UNC loses Saturday.

SU loss + BC win: Syracuse falls to the #10 seed and it's Tuesday in Greensboro vs. Louisville.

SU win: Syracuse ties Wake for 8th place and gets to wear the home whites in a rematch with the Deacons in our customary Wednesday Noon spot.

BC is playing well as of late and I don't think we are in a good position to beat anyone two games in a row if we win Saturday. GT getting their second road ACC win and us getting blown out again so Wake doesn't bring it Wednesday at noon might be the best scenario...

SU losing on Tuesday to 4-27 Louisville in JB's last game to clinch two straight non-winning seasons would be... not good.

I don't really care what we do to close the season -- as long as we don't lose to Louisville. That would be too much embarrassent for the program.

I have been able to largely laugh off our recent losses as a way of dealing with the frustration. Couldn't do the same if we lost to Louisville.
