I forgot to post this the other day, but its great. SU graduate Craig Carton from WFAN's Boomer and Carton radio show. The morning after the riots, they had on a Penn St. Journalism major Karisa Maxwell to talk about the situation at Penn St. She like many is a fool and was defending JoePa and such and Carton didn't hold back on her and showed no mercy!!

Definitely harsh, but I think Carton's comments [while over the top] probably resonates with most people who are outside of the PSU amniotic sack--especially starting around the 10 minute mark.

Those who are most praised tend to be those who are hte most critcized. The praise comes because the person needs defending. (This was always true about Woody Hayes, Bob Knight, etc.) Each person has a ledger and the longer the list of good things they have done, the more disturbing the bad things they have done become. (See Jim Brown.) You expect bad people to do bad things but why do good people do them?

There had to have been a meeting of Penn State's top decision makers to determine what to do about Sandusky. One of the things they decided was to not report his crimes. Not reporting a crime is itself a crime and decidng to do that in a meeting is a conspiracy to commit a crime. Does anyone really believe Joe Paterno was not at that meeting or that the decisons made there did not have his approval?
