Laila still struggling. We need her to get out of this slump quickly.

This concerns me. She doesn't seem to be "hunting her shots". She appears to be backing away from taking over on offense.

I have been saying this for a month now: Syracuse needs a scorer coming off the bench! I think Potts needs to move up in the rotation and get some quality time as a spark off the bench. If you look back at Coach Jack's pre season comments, she was very complimentary of the work Potts put in during the summer. When the season started, Potts was getting early playing time off the bench...but when given her opportunity, she wasn't making any shots...and Coach Jack seemed to lose confidence in her and she moved back in the rotation. Especially when a team zones us, Potts, Burrows and Phelia give us some dangerous 3 point shooters. I hope Coach reads this post...LOL...LOL...LOL...

Maddy has shown she certainly can shoot. My bad but I haven’t paid attention to her defense. That can be a difference maker with many coaches. Hoping she gets some chances to earn more time in the rotation in our last 4 regular season games.
