SU at UConn: Mon Mar 23, 6 PM [NCAA 2nd Rd]

SU faces UConn 5 of their last 7 visits to the tournament
Why do we always get put in the bracket with UCONN????? I expect to see UConn press US early and often. They will try to exploit our lack of depth at the point and they will sure try to keep LIV from going off from the 3 point range. An unlikely suspect will have to come out of the "woods" and score big, for us to have any chance at the upset!. I have been rooting for Potts all season....but her 3 ball is so inconsistent...watch her shot...it doesn't land softly...it either goes in or clanks off...she gets no "shooter"s bounce"at all. I just don't know if we have enough fire power to stay with UConn. I expect Coach Jack will have them ready to play and defense will be the key...Let's go Orange!!!!

the selection committee can go to hell

I hope we keep it close, I would expect UConn to try and get Izoje into foul trouble early. Not sure it will matter much in the end but it's not over til it's over, right Yogi?

Then bet the HOUSE on Cuse!!!!! We can't possibly lose by 36.5 points!...Can We?????
Have you seen UCONN. They destroy a lot of teams when they don't play well which is rare. Women's game does not have the depth of the men's game. Couple that with top teams get to play on their home court. Really hard to upset superior teams on the road.

The haves and the have nots in women's college bball really takes the gas out of the tank. Hopefully the pendulum starts to swing in the other direction at some point but with NIL and booster $'s involved now, the future doesn't look so bright.

UConn is the best team this year, but UCLA, Texas and South Carolina aren't far behind. So any #1 matchup is going to be a tall order no matter which region we got placed in.
