That being said, you're going to a football game. You don't need heat. Grow a pair.
The bigger issue is the lack of ability to prepare. If I'm going to a game outside and it's ten degrees, I know I need to bundle up. I went to the Pinstripe Bowl last year with my skiing clothes and was warm the entire game.
If you're going to a game at the Dome in November, you've got no idea what to wear to be comfortable because it apparently will be anywhere between 40 and 90 degrees. That is pathetic, and telling people to man up and accept that you have absolutely no idea what to expect at the Dome temperature wise is ignoring the actual issue.
I was fine because I like cold better than hot. But I just kept on the sweatshirt and coat I wore at the tailgate. But people did notice how cold it was, most in my section kept their winter gear on. It was just SU going on the cheap. Didn't bother me though.

People complain all the time about it being too hot in the Dome (and also complain how ironic that it's named after an air-conditioning company), but being upset it was too cold is a first for my ears. Just never going to satisfy everyone. Wow.
Maybe they were expecting about 10K more fans in there, yelling, standing, actually moving around during the game. I know, crazy talk.
I was there, had no issues with the temps in the Dome. Are we just inventing things to complain about these days? Help us all if we ever get 49K in that place again and everyone complains about how cramped it was and how hot they were.
OK my original post come off much more whiny than I had intended. There was alot of talk recently on here about things that SU could do to improve the fan experience at the Dome to attract more fans. After experience the frigid temps in the dome on Saturday, it just seemed like an easy fix...but when it comes to stuff like this, it seems they usually just cheap out.
In all seriousness, the Dome has a reputation (and we've all experienced it) of being a microwave for football games. Especially for noon(ish) starts. I would imagine climate control in that building isn't as easy as just turning the thermostat to 70. Heat is on, suddenly the sun pops through those clouds, and everyone is dying. The sun did pop through a few times, before the apparent whiteout started, I'm assuming around halftime. Didn't expect that type of drive home.
you are wrong if you think I was complaining as I first read this thread days ago said nothing. just was pointing out what the announcers said.15 degree wind chill in Foxborough the other day, quit complaining, jeez

...it was about 40 degrees in the dome today. The cheap bastards didn't bother to turn the heat on. I thought the whole point of having the dome in the first place was so that we didn't have to brave the elements?
Sometimes its just embarrassing being a fan of this university.
