Just look at the NFL Draft since Coach P was fired. We aren't churning out pros year in year out.
We have Chandler and Arthur Jones, Justin Pugh, Ryan Nassib, Jay Bromley, Marquis Sprull, Shamarko Thomas, Delone Carter and few other kids get drafted.

With Dino Babers we have a chance to get skill position players in our program to put up numbers and get a look at the NFL.
Right now Syracuse has exactly 1 WR/TE/RB/QB on an NFL roster in Ryan Nassib. We need that change and change quickly.
Our biggest problem recently has been top end talent. We needed this hire of DB to inject life to our offense as the status quo wasn't going to work out. DB can could develop kids and put some offense into the NFL as WR is the easiest position to transition from college to the NFL.
Our best NFL pros right now are Chandler Jones, Justin Pugh, and Dwight Freeney.

Syracuse
PLAYER TEAM POSITION
Jay Bromley New York Giants Defensive Tackle
Dwight Freeney Arizona Cardinals Linebacker
Tanard Jackson Washington Redskins Defensive Back
Arthur Jones Indianapolis Colts Defensive Tackle
Chandler Jones New England Patriots Defensive End
Cameron Lynch St. Louis Rams Linebacker
Ryan Nassib New York Giants Quarterback
Justin Pugh New York Giants Offensive Tackle
Shamarko Thomas Pittsburgh Steelers Strong Safety
Andrew Tiller San Francisco 49ers Guard

thats quite alarming.

the fact that freeney is in the discussion for the best 2015 Syracuse NFLer when he was on his couch for 5 weeks is telling.

for whatever reason, P could recruit WRs and had his share of RBs get a bit of league run.

NFL QBs are a rare breed for sure, but id like to see babers get us some good college QBs where the skill guys could develop into the players we will see on Sundays.

It's too bad Mike Williams couldn't get his head on straight, he had the potential to make a Pro-Bowl or two with the right QB/work ethic.

That video/picture of him in his bills uni, in the parking lot, about 5 mins before kick was hysterical.

Pro Bowl of ridiculousness.
