I honestly see this one being a blood bath. No offense to Providence but we are about the worst match up for them especially with Fab's sudden great shot blocker status. If you watched them against St. John's zoned them, ran and turned them over I think you have a good idea of what we will see except we do all of those things better than St. John's. This may be like last years DePaul game.

providence looked awful against georgetown. typically they can be scary in their place because they seem to always have scorers. obviously anything can happen, i just didn't see much firepower on that roster right now.

I was more morried about Seton Hall and Pope until Melo baptised him.

Provi have beaten nobody to date. I can see us coming out slow and the game being uncomfortable in the beginning but not so worried about the outcome.

What worries me about this game is what i've seen from Rak defensively at center, right now he's terrible. If Keita can't go because of the hip or is ineffective and Fab has to play 30+ minutes our defense will not be as effective. All you would have to do is Fab pick up a couple of fouls on bad calls which always happen at providence. Two years ago wes was undercut and injured no call, was never the same. Last year chris undercut and hit his head never the same. I don't like playing up there and glad we won't have to in a couple of years.

But i cant get past the fact that st johns ran them off the court, and st johns suuuuuuuuuuux this year. If the johnnies can drop 91 on them we should drop a hundy! Unless they just go bonkers from 3 again like they did 2 years ago to stay in it ill be surprised if we're not up 20 at halftime.

It's going to be close to a 50/50 crowd i'd guess... No students, they still havent sold out. Up until last week it was their "in order to get the cuse game you have to buy two other tickets" and now they are selling tickets for 10 bucks. I look forward to being in the Dunk tomorrow for a blowout.

I saw Providence in person for the BC game it it was a glorified high school game, Providence struggled against an awful BC team, also Providence has no bench, like 3 or 4 guys total in uniform on the bench

We really need to wipe these guys off the floor...just came back from Providence Board ... generally very pessimistic and rightfully so. What (or who) pisses me off is some dude Classof29 (actually Classless of 29) who has proposed bringing LF bigheads to the game. If that happens ... no walk-ons JB!!! Kick these kids butts by 50!!
