SU practice facilities ranked in top 15

ESPN seems to think we still have some of the worst facilities in the ACC. Here's the link (the SU part is free to look at).

If the column had said we are a Top 15 program, then fine - be as negative as you want. But honestly, I truly believe our practice facilities are among the best in the nation now. So why the hell would you try to take away from it, in any way, shape or form?

Have you been to every IPF in the country? I'm sure it could be top 15 but it's bleacher report so I doubt the writer has visited every one either. We definitely have great facilities. I'm just saying Bleacher Report is a bad source.

I literally said nothing negative in my post.

And I would never say that about our facilities. But they don't compare with SEC schools. This is a fact.

I agree with you on this, not sure where everybody got that they were comparing overall facilities. The article specifically said our IPF was one of the top 15 in the country.

Headline on syracuse.com - "Syracuse football indoor practice facility among nation's top 15, according to Bleacher Report"
Article title on Bleacher Report - "15 Best Indoor Facilities In College Fo0tball" Only references the IPF.

Any good press is welcomed but they are not comparing overall facilities.

nope. some of the worst housing in the country for any students, let alone athletes.

south campus is nothing but old school military barracks from post ww2.

I can definitely speak to freshman housing on south campus. Is it adequate? Yes. Does housing rival other universities? @#$# no. I can certainly see why, for some, it might be a deal-breaker.

Not for the frosh. They get stuck in the green apts. They're okay, but they don't compare to other P5 schools. Hell, even MTSUs student-athlete dorms are better, and they're C-USA.

Ya, I've heard the same thing. Some of the student/athlete housing is really, really bad from what I've been told.

Well, it's not horrible. Housing, though, certainly needs an infusion of cash in order to compete with a lot of other schools.
