Winter Park QB Asiantii Woulard decommits from USF

Highlight Tape

Usually when a Florida kid de-commits from a USF-level program, it's because he is getting interest from Florida/FSU/Miami.

Yeah or in the case of TE Josh Parris interest from Syracuse.

Am I the only one who thinks that picture looks like Lamar Lattrell about to throw the special aeronomically designed javelin?
you're the only one. i'm not surpised that mental images of lamar lattrell are constantly on the tiny mind encased in that giant skull

I don't think that football was engineered for a limp wristed throwing style.

Why would we need another QB when we're going to be welcomed to the Ashton Broyld show?

No no no no no. We haven't had an above average/all-conference/playmaking/however you want to describe it QB in OVER a decade. I have high hopes for AB, but I also did for Kinder, Hunt, Miller, Joe Daily, Cecil Howard and so on.

Until anyone shows they can run a competent offense on a consistent basis, keep recruiting QBs.

Is this serious or sarcasm?
Serious. IF the kid stays eligible and by extension had the capacity to digest the X's and O's, we'll all like what we see. Serious.

What's different is, yes, his talent level. What is not different is that he is another recruit with baggage. Not saying that to diss the kid; I am rooting hard for him to be "the one." However, it's no slam dunk this kid is our offensive savior. Until then, keep 'em coming. It was just a few years ago that many here thought the program was set for a while with Nassib, Kinder, Hunt, Miller. And before that it was somewhat the same with Robinson, Catalina and Legree.

When you think about it, it's hard not to draw a parallel b/t our lack of success and lack of a solid QB.

Gay and dumb. You're firing back on all cylinders.

I'm not offended, everyone knows Lamar was the coolest guy in that house.

it's a good thing it was way before lavar lobdell's time. it would've sucked for him if he was your age.

yep said that elsewhere too. Here's hoping and crossing the fingers on the other issues and that he rises from the ashes like a Scoophoenix...

Stop it, those are some big IFs. Kid is raw and I'm far more worried about his passing accuracy then I am anything else. Right now he'd be lucky to hit water standing on a dock.

I don't think we have to worry about his baggage -- he's enrolled in the Doug Marrone High Character Life Skills Boot Camp/Academy after all. (yes, I'm just making a light-hearted comment. Please don't murder me.)

HILARIOUS!

ridiculous. I'm sure you've seen him play a bunch of times like I did. One time close up as my college buds HS team where he's taught and coached, they played them in the dome (and lost to them in the state championship). That head coach whose one of the best (several state titles of his own), with much experience, etc. concurs he's the best (at that time) we've ever seen. And we watched him up close throwing in practice, in game situations, in clutch times in those games and he made throw after throw just fine.

Unless you know something different from his Milford when I could no longer follow him, then your comment is nonsensical.

Until Broyld starts tearing it up against D I talent on a weekly basis we should continue to recruit the position. There are zero givens in sports. Heck, even Bryce Harper isn't even a given and he's probably the best baseball prospect...ever.
