I love it: "Premium content is only available to subscribers"

Yes, these are next level explanations and descriptions concerning the scholastic and gridiron aspirations of 17-year-olds domiciled in the greater Philadelphia area viz Syracuse University.
These accounts are so descriptive and do so strategically capture the Philadelphian zeitgeist of brawny, young football players that they belong in an exalted category of "Premium Content" and therefore must be accessed with lucre.

Yeah, I get it - a business model. And my snark will totally evaporate if we somehow beat that privileged SEC monster Tennessee.

I live in the area, and probably as a residual of having gone to Newhouse, I still subscribe, and believe in subscribing, to quality journalism.

The Inquirer is still pretty good. Our local rag, Delaware Online (aka the News Journal), has become nothing more than a dumbed-down version (if it is possible) of USA Today, with more than half its content 'borrowed' from the Gannett flagship. I think exclusive AI content might even be an upgrade.

Philly... aka West Camden. McCord going to the Eagles certainly won't hurt our recruiting efforts there

Great to see the Cuse winning over recruits from the Philly area. The majority of the guys that chose another school had Syracuse in their final group, so more evidence that our Recruiting machine is reaching the right recruits!

Wow--check out this article from today's Inquirer! I'll provide as much 'fair use' as I can:

"I think it’s extremely important [to recruit from Camden] because that’s where I was developed as a football player, that’s where I was developed as a man, that’s where I was developed as a coach,” Brown said. “A lot of people are just comfortable because of my upbringing, and me knowing myself, and understanding that person.”

"While Brown has proved he can out-recruit some of the top college football powerhouses in the country — several major recruiting outlets have Syracuse’s 2026 class ranked inside the top 25 nationally — maintaining a Philly recruiting base remains a priority. Ten local recruits in next year’s class have already committed to play for Brown and Syracuse."

One of Brown’s biggest demands in recruiting has been strong academic performance from his players. The results speak for themselves. During last year’s spring semester, the football team recorded an average grade point average of 3.05, the highest in school history.

“He’s trying to make sure we do good in school, because school comes first before football,” White said. “When school starts for us, we got to wear a tie and button-up [shirt] two days throughout the week, so we make sure we stay uniform and present ourselves well.”

“If you sit in the front [of the classroom], you’re present. … If you’re not in the front, you’re not present to him,” said Muhammad, who added, “He clocks that every day.”

There's lots more. SU's PR Department couldn't have done a better job of giving Coach Fran the rub.
