[QUOTE="OrangeDW, post: 2033249, member: 2458"] As good as ACC basketball is...is it really any more difficult than the Big East was from like 2006-2013? Maybe you forgot how good some of those programs were when they were in the best league, since some have fallen off the map since? UConn was still an elite program back then. Georgetown was still strong in those years. Obviously Syracuse and Louisville. Pitt was always good. Villanova was usually very good. Marquette and West Virginia were usually top 25 teams. Notre Dame was always a tourney team. Throw in usually competitive teams like Cincinatti and Providence. Basically everybody but Rutgers and Depaul were tough. The Big East was the strongest, deepest conference in the country over that span. The ACC right now is similar, but I don't think it's any tougher. It's basically the same thing where you get 9-10 tourney teams and have multiple national title contenders in any given year...and not just the same two teams, but any of like 5-6 different programs.
