I moved to Syracuse in 1981, Coach Mac's first year. The football team lost their first two games: to Rutgers at home, and then to Temple. There was no reason to think that SU would make the run it did for nearly the next 20 years.

The ACC isn't what will keep SU football from getting better, it's the reason SU has the chance to get better. Or would you rather be Connecticut?

Basketball for one is a terrible argument. This year we aren't great. We have been tops in the Big East in Bball and that conference was arguably better than the ACC. Oh we also have done well in the ACC.

Football in the ACC is just starting to get respect. Like the end of this year. We will get better with the current coaches and stability. That is FACT!!!

Really? Interesting. The hoops team were in the final 4 last year and fb is just in a ridiculous division. So, you want to give up that ACC $$$ and play uconn, cinncy, and Memphis as our Marque matchups? Give me a break, put down the bottle...
