SU to Welcome Student-Athletes Back To Campus on June 8

Maybe maybe not but Dawsom also tore his ACL I believe in HS.

You may both be correct.

Dawson did tear his ACL in HS.

However, it was also fairly recently reported that he had another procedure done on his knee (dunno if same one, or not - I'd assume so), so that could also be from the current work.

As I've wondered... with testing, this may show a more widespread asymptomatic #.

there is also no way to really know if the people just got it at the protest or slightly before or slightly after.

It shows that many of the kids didnt really know since they came back and got tested.. you would think if they had symptoms they would have tested before they went to campus.

I think Cuse's pods of 10 plan is about as good/realistic as you can go for the time being. It's up to the players to be responsible and follow the guidelines.

Looks like a lot of effort. I don’t know if it’s worth it.

The positive tests are going to happen when guys get back to campus. Just the way it is.

The key is keeping it from spreading within the team and limiting outside contact to prevent it from being introduced within the team.

The Jordan's told me that Jawhar was required to take his temperature daily the entire time he was at home. So hopefully that will help to make sure they all returned COVID-19 free, although never a guarantee.

SU Covid update. Not sure if it’s been posted elsewhere.

Don’t know what to think of this paragraph. Maybe similar to TS?

“In addition, the University plans to limit campus visitors during the fall semester. According to health experts, visitors to campus from outside Central New York pose a risk of virus transmission to the University community (given that those individuals would not be subject to the ongoing testing and monitoring procedures in place for the residential campus community and CNY residents). For this reason, visitors and guests from outside Central New York will generally be restricted from accessing residence halls and other campus facilities.

Any word on the results from Tuesday‘s tests?

I don't think they are going to release any info publicly. I think Wildhack hinted at that. Just as a comparison Houston U shut down because their testing policy was...nobody gets test no restrictions unless someone is showing symptons.

Syracuse has about as good a plan as you can hope for.

SU has been very proactive. Players were suppose to take their temperatures at home every day. Dino was in contact almost regularly keeping players updated on how to stay safe. I’m sure most schools did something along these lines. It sounds like they installed all new schemes for offense and defense during zoom meetings. Dino hinted he wasn’t a big fan of zoom.
