SU, UConn, and the doppleganger decade

(In case the last few years' sequence of events feels eerily familiar to anyone)

The last decade of SU & UConn hoops has behaved like one of those old school VHS tapes... two sides to the same set of tape.

2002-2004 :
- UConn season is ended by eventual finalist Maryland.
- UConn then beats SU both times the next year...
... but SU wins the NC that year anyways.
- UConn responds by winning the NC the subsequent year.
- This is followed by a messy conference realignment as 2004 marks the last year before teams leave the Big East for the ACC.

... now fast-forward, & flip sides ...

2010-2012 :
- SU season is ended by eventual finalist Butler.
- SU then beats UConn both times the next year...
... but UConn wins the NC that year anyways.
- * SU responds by winning the NC the subsequent year.
- This is followed by a messy conference realignment as 2012 marks the last year before teams leave the Big East for the ACC.

... and eject.

All that is left is to make this VHS tape permanent by removing the erase tab asterisk.
