It's a win! Really hope that Burrows can get going with her shooting. She's doing a nice job on defense, but we really need her outside shooting.

Uche has been an amazing find.

Darius had way too many turnovers. Agree with others that Schmitt or Velez may need more time if that continues.
 
Did they take a point away from a 3 point shot in the first half? I think it was Darius who made it. It was the only 3 point shot made in the first half but has disappeared in the box score. Horrid 3 point shooting but great free throw shooting and rebounding.

The ladies played a clean overtime. They have to clean up the turnovers. You can’t keep giving up twenty possessions against good teams. Auburn is offensively challenged.

Our Defense is really strong. You can see our team has that defensive mindset. That being said, our offense is suspect, especially in the area of 3 point shooting. This team needs o find some shooters. I like the fact that we have players who can get their own shot in the midrange!!!...Turnovers will get you beat and we turn the ball over too much! Darious, for someone who has the ball so much, she might be our leader in turnovers. I like our rebounding prowess as well. This team has depth and we need to use it more! We can't keep 4/5 starters playing 35+ minutes per night. Izoche is going to be really something. they need to feed her the ball more and play more inside out. I have hope our 3 point shooters will improve...but as long as we play that pit bull defense, we should be in most games we play! Let's go Orange!!!!

I think Schmitt needs to get some more run, she is a good three point shooter...but she needs to make some shots..to stay on the floor. Maddy Potts is a 3 point shooter...but she isn't aggressively looking for her shot when she is in the game...and hasn't had much opportunity. What this team needs is some "micro wave" shooters...players who can come off the bench at any moment and make shots. I can't believe how bad our 3 point shooters have been this year.
 
Agree about Schmitt. Also Phelia can hit the 3, but she has something going on with her knee since the last game. Both Darius and Sophie have hit 3s in prior games.
Izoche is still adjusting to the college game. She has been very rapidly improving though, but still has a bit more to learn, especially to stay out of foul trouble.

Hope Phelia’s knee issue resolves, sad if an injury affects another year of her career. She’s a very talented part of this team.
 
Offensively both the men and women are struggling. D both are very strong. Just need the O to improve a little and both teams will have good seasons.
 
Turnovers are not a new issue with the women. It’s been an ongoing issue. They play so hard to give away so many possessions. Some of their passes aren’t even 50/50 type passes but pass and hope passes.
