Latest Syracuse basketball opponent is out. Tony Kornheiser's alma mater Binghamton comes to the Carrier Dome on Dec 7.

Wow really scraping the bottom of the RPI barrel. With Cornell, Colgate and now the Bing it's good we've got Duke twice, UNC and IU to offset the RPI dregs (which was likely part of the thinking). JB had cut out some of the real bad RPI anchors in recent years. All of these will be RPI 300+.

With challenges ahead: new backcourt, Maui, Ind, StJ, Nova, ACC, pre-conf hoops sched is Bing, Colgate, Cornell, Fordham. Not Detroit, etc.

FWIW, Binghamton shouldn't be as bad this year. Not that this means much of anything, but they should be able to get a few America East wins.

All in all, though, I really don't think you can say 'Cuse's schedule is that bad. Nova and St. John's should be very solid, Indiana should be Top 25 and Maui never hurts. Plus, the ACC is so filthy, come tournament time, Syracuse's SOS should show quite well, imo.
