Most players are taller than Schmitt. Doesn’t slow her down. She more than compensates.that makes it even worse...LOL...
There’s 21 of them. 19 that were much better. One other that was totally cardiac. At least I saw a win!
Am I the only one on this thread that is questioning why Maddie Potts has not earned the opportunity to get some quality minutes? My assessment of her game is that she is not very athletic, lacks some foot speed and physicality, and has trouble creating her own shot against woman to woman defense and is more suited to play against a zone...But...and here is my question: If you look at our subs, we have rebounders, defense, and ball handling(Scmitt), but no scorers coming off the bench. When we hit those runs...where we are in a scoring drought, why not give her some run, run her off some screens for some 3's in the half court set...or set her up for some open 3's in fast break transition ball?I'm not sure she is physical enough. This is a physical game right now. Wondering about Journey.
You were like this when WE weren't too old!I'm too old for this and already have high blood pressure
From someone who knows and has seen me in action. But also is not any better at this than I am.You were like this when WE weren't too old!
IMHO, UCONN, SCar, UCLA would beat anyone else on a neutral floor, Then, maybe 2-3 other SEC teams, are at the top beneath them. I watch the SU games, and watch Vandy games, so I have seen most of the top teams play. I believe SU is under ranked, and should be at the tail end of the top 25. They did get smoked by Duke and Louisville at the Dome. Those teams in the top 7-8 are more athletic overall, and most have one or more of the top women in the college game. UCONN has two of the best, and I recently read an article that had five current players on UCLA likely to be picked in the WNBA draft first round.Would those who follow closely consider SU to be in the 2nd or 3rd tier of teams nationally ( or is UCONN its own tier).
