Offensively, they need to get something out of their midfield. The starting six middies had one goal last night and five on the season so far. Then there is the FREE position shots. You cannot go 25% on those and expect to win against good teams. It’s like an epidemic in Syracuse with free throws and free position shots. With all that said, I am ready for a four game win streak going into the Northwestern game.

My thoughts after the stanford game and they definitely improved on almost all of my points of emphasis. They got a major infusion of scoring from midfield, six middies scored 10 of 15 goals today. On the free positions, Syracuse went 2-3. Not a ton of opportunities, but they capitalized on them. I also liked changing up the line ups and getting some additional players on the offense. I think Mackenzie Borbi earned some additional time at midfield going forward. 1/4 of the way to that four game win streak with probably the best team of those four in the rearview mirror. Looking forward to them building on this win saturday at Lville.

Borbi has a strong shot, I liked Volpes assists. One thing I will say is, you cant have Britton and Volpe on the field at the same time, they are the same type of player and it clogs the X. Guzik is our clear Star, Im a big fan of hers!
