While a loss, a lot better effort than Sunday's game. They had it down to 5pts with just under 3 minutes to go. #3, the little freshman is a wrecking ball. Much bigger than her size. I think if this team comes together just a little bit more, we might have something there this season

Our lack of speed and athleticism is startling and it really shows up on the defensive end. The effort was much better in this game, I agree. Hopefully, this team figures out how to stop teams from scoring because we look like we have some people who can score. We will all be watching, the season has a long way to go.

Overall we played hard against the #11 team in the 1st, 3rd, and 4th quarters. It was the 2nd quarter that we got beat.

Unfortunately, the game is 4 quarters... All kidding aside. We scored 70+ points and did some nice things against a good team. This team has a chance to grow and get better. Only time will tell if our coaching and schemes can help overcome some of our obvious shortcomings: speed, athleticism, and height/depth! This team looks like a zone team to me, we don't seem quick enough to defend on the perimeter and keep players out of the paint. We have some shooters and enough talent to win games and defense will be the key. So far, we are giving up 80+ points per game. That puts a lot of pressure on our offense game in and game out. Interesting season ahead. I have confidence in Coach she is a great leader and mentor for young women. She needs that NIL support so she can bring the players to the 315, that would normally love to play for her.....but Money talks a little louder now!!!

Love Olivia's quickness! She’s a NY born frosh player. If she tightens up her ball handling reducing TO’s and develops a shot, she should be fun to watch develop. She is a quick ball hawk too.
