I have said it before, Schmidt was a prolific 3 point shooter in HS. Couldn't figure out why it wasn't dropping in college. She can be a good college guard and she is setting herself up for some great playing time next year. Recruiting is the key: We need some players, especially Bigs!!! This portal season will be huge...We need at least 2 players in the portal who are 6-3 or taller in order to have a chance to be competitive next year.

I missed the beginning of the game. Saw that Kyra started but played only 17 minutes - her stats looked ok for the time she played - 8 points, on 3-5 shooting, 2-2 ft, 4 rebounds, 2 fouls, 1 to. Did she have an issue on defense? Was she injured or sick? Just wondering about her limited minutes in the game. TY.

Lexi took time after the game to come up and see us. She let us know she is graduating this year, as a junior. She isn’t sure if she will play anywhere as a grad student.

I sure hope she’s enjoying her time here. She seems like a very friendly positive and engaged part of the team. Hope there’s a grad program at SU she’s interested in.
