Women's Lacrosse SU vs Northwestern (8-12): Tues Feb 25, 3:30 PM

my love for college sports shrinks daily with stories like this. If things are so great at SU why would you leave ?
If you are referring to the Delaney story, this makes sense to me, “I couldn’t imagine going back (to Syracuse) without Savannah, and I was beyond grateful for getting that experience with her,” Delaney said. “(Leaving) was kind of just a decision that happened.”

Getting a NW degree as well. Can't fault her for that. She paid her dues to SU.

I think we need to be aggressive as a team like this as well. Go after peer program talent if they are available.

Oh great another game that will be on while I'm at work... I've only been able to watch the UNC game so far lol.

It makes no sense why would going to a place full of strangers and compete directly against your former teammates be more appealing then playing with the team that got you where you are ???? Unless something happened that made you change how you feel about your old team???

I respectfully disagree. The ability for her to get a grad degree from NW for free is a huge bonus. She also noted she wanted a new experience, which I think makes sense. Not saying I like it as a SU fan, but I get it. Women's lax may not/ likely wont pay her bills, (unless she wants to coach) so the new degree will be a huge help professionally. Just my perspective though.

When I graduated college, like half my friends looked for jobs in NYC, LA or Chicago because they wanted a different experience.

ZERO insight into this girl's situation, but people in their early 20s have been venturing out to new experiences forever.

You know Mike Greenberg is loving this, smug little .
