they couldn't wait 30 seconds? Seriously by the time I went to watch ESPN and tried to find it, it was over. Great call to show the 1Q of the ACC women's basketball tourney as opposed to 2 top 10 lacrosse teams in triple ot.

Yeah make them watch it on ACC plus until the Lax finished. Nothing like taking a 3 OT game and say, hey screw it, let's just switch this to the WACC tourney now, no one will care.

The worst part is they switched it and there was only 30 seconds in the WBB first Q. Like why switch it?! Lol

“What a game…. I’m really proud of the program and where to take it from here.” - Treanor in her opening statement. SU jumped out to a 5-1 lead before Stanford recovered. Once it was tied up, the game went back and forth from there on out.

“With our schedule [every game] is big. This was a huge win,” - Treanor. SU lost its last three tilts, all to ranked teams.

“When we recruit, they are all amazing athletes…. but [Cotter] has that ‘it’ factor. This is exactly what I expect out of her,” - Treanor.

Guyette was, again, very good. She has the potential to become a great goalie.

Great move substituting Caramelli at the draw. At least now there is someone serviceable.

Offense leaves a lot to be desired. Lots of desperation passes leading to turnovers. Moreover, lots of passing around the perimeter with no discernible offensive strategy. Need to fix this quick.

The strategy seems to be to run as much time off the shot clock as possible and shorten the game.

Of course, you run the risk of bleeding TOO much time off the clock and being forced into a bad shot.

And if you score too quick, the other team can get hot at the draw circle and score 2-3 against you in 90 seconds.
