SU vs Stanford (69-58): Sun Jan 18, 2 PM

Journey Thompson had a great day rebounding as did Sophie and Uche. Nice seeing Sophie getting her 3 point shooting back. She’s shot a great .500 from 3 in our last 5 games (17-34) after a .201 start in the first 14 games. (13-64) I love the energy and enthusiasm the bench has during games.

I love Coach Jack, but she has better talent this year than last and that is the difference in the record this year versus last. She was a good coach last year as well...just didn't have the horses.
Having a rookie center who could play with anyone makes a big difference. They need to find a way to keep her here. You can build a great team around her.

I really love watching this team play. They have a gritty attitude and a surprising amount of finesse. FLJ is doing a fantastic job with them. I enjoy the offensive flow this team has during games. Polar opposite of the men.
I don't know how many games you have watched this year, but i find your comment about offensive flow interesting. This team has been very inconsistent with their half court offense this year. They often struggle with poor ball movement and one on one ball domination. It works well when Lelia and Dom are scoring, but when they are not scoring, this offense goes stagnant. This team is at it's best when they push the ball and score in transition. I will admit, the last 3 games, the half court offense has improved due to the scoring of Dom , Lelia and Sophie Buckets hitting the 3. Defense is what will take this team far into the season. Let's go Orange!!!
