Sunday should be interesting against Michigan

Michigan is good team but I think they lose to UConn and take SU by 17. Uche will have to be careful.

This was such a great win and a really fun game to watch. This team reminds me of the 2016 team in many ways. They really toughed this win out, and turned it up a gear to give them a fairly comfortable lead in the last couple of minutes. Did they miss a lot of shots? Yes. But it was a defensive dog fight, especially in the first half. To come out and adjust in the 2nd half like we did, was really refreshing to see.

Wow this was quite a win! We didn't shoot well except in spurts, but played really strong defense and won the rebounding edge handily.

There wasn't much to indicate Darius was going to be a major contributor, but she's been quite a find at PG.

Sophie hasn't really found her shooting touch yet this season, but what a defensive game today. Only credited with 2 steals but she tipped a lot of balls to disrupt things. Great passing game for her also

Uche really held her own inside against her first major competition as I hoped and expected she would after watching her in the first few games.

I think Laila can and will shoot better than she did today, but it looks like we're getting the pre-injury version of her.

I thought Journey Thompson really played well off the bench. Great rebounding and some key baskets.

I like watching the women play. Always playing tuff defense and rebounding. If so many shots had not spun off in the first half they would have won by almost 30.
Coach Jack really gets her teams to play hard and are great defensively. Imagine if she could get some top 30 players to come to the program consistently. They could play with anyone. You see that with Darius and Lalia (sp) former top 30 recruits.

So if any of you new fans are in Syracuse, get your butts to the Dome for the women's games. Park across the street and take the bridge over. Easy to get there, and we should have more people in the stands for this team.

Great win - congratulations! Sophie Burrows with 6 assists, only 1 TO and 5 rebounds, she’s really contributing, when she starts hitting her shots - wow. We had an awesome 3 with their rebounding, 24 offensive rebounds alone - Journey, Uche and Dominique had 28 rebounds between them! We killed them on the boards 49 to 31. If we start hitting those 3’s watch out. Go SU!
