Agree. The defense was been very good almost all season.SU’s zone defense seemed to be everywhere. They cut off passing angles all over the field. Really impressive tonight.
They will be a top 10 team by the end of year but probably next week. I dont believe that enough losses took place in front of them for them to move up. Win on thursday and they go into the top 10, probably in the 6-8 range.Agree. The defense was been very good almost all season.
We better be in the top 10 in the next poll!
Against #4 Northwestern? That's a big ask, but not impossible. Northwestern just got by #10 Stony Brook.Win on thursday and they go into the top 10, probably in the 6-8 range.
For inside lax poll I think we may be top 10 & hear me out...We are 14 now ----13 Hop plays 10 Stony Brooke today and 12 Mich plays 11 Colorado, 7 ND plays 15 Clemson and 9 BC got hammered by Duke this week. There is a path to get to 10 if things break right. Our defense has been lights out. We gave up 6 goals this week which is insane. They will be a top 10 team by the end of year but probably next week. Loyola is not a bad team and they have one of the top 5 coaching staffs in the game. The fact that they stay relevant in women’s lacrosse is a testament to their coaches. Cal and Louisville, yeah, they are bad. As for Northwestern, they are very good, but Izzy Scane isn’t walking thru that door. This is a beatable team (see Colorado) with one good win against a questionable BC. I think this game will be closer than a traditional 4 vs 15 ranked type of game.Against #4 Northwestern? All their wins have been against, frankly, bad teams. How they play against Northwestern will serve as a measuring stick as to how far they've come since the opening 3 losses.
