I mean, I get losing a shootout. But based on how they are run, how do you only make 1 out of 4 shots? Are you shooting directly at the goalie and hoping it ricochets into the goal? Puzzling and maddening.

When I refereed years ago when I lived in Upstate NY that's how it was, but now it's like a one on one live play between the player/shooter and goalie. I would rather have the shootout as it seems like it's easier to score with the current format now, expect for SU in this one.
