Typically after we give up a big play I am the kind of fan who yells angrily about it and starts ranting about whatever went wrong. I was in the Dome for the Louisville game in 2016, and my jaw just freaking dropped after Lamar Jackson jumped over Cordell Hudson. I have never seen anything like it before or since.

ISO I’m hearing the enduring legacy of that Illinois player getting hurdled was your fault. Had you rushed the field to stop it, everyone would remember the play as “that play where a crazy fan rushed the field to tackle a Louisville QB” and not “that play where a Louisville QB hurdled an Illinois player.”
