Baylor beat TCU. Baylor was #5, and TCU was #6. Michigan State beat Baylor today. Ohio State just beat Alabama with it's third string QB. Are you saying TCU should have been ranked ahead of Alabama?

Right, so are you saying that both TCU and Baylor are better than Alabama and Ole Miss? Should Baylor and TCU have both been ranked higher than Alabama in the final rankings? Because otherwise, I cannot see how TCU playing Oregon makes sense as the best two teams.

Mind you I think the selection committee hit a home run. The final four was spot on. TCU convincingly beat Ole Miss, but Ohio State convincingly beat Alabama. Alabama is better than Ole Miss IMO.

Just go to an eight team playoff. TCU, Baylor, and Michigan State are all capable of beating any one of these four teams, well maybe beside Oregon.

Two of the supplemental bowls like the peach, cotton, orange, and fiesta will have better ratings each year. It's smart business, no conference can complain, and fans will be happy.
