I tried for a bit, Im out, college football, stop playing bowl games after new years.

They don't have a choice when Jan 1 is on a Sunday.

But yeah, there's no chance I watch all of this game. Rose Bowl gets the sweet spot on time of day.

I would watch the Rose Bowl if they played it in March, its always been my favorite bowl game, but they have to do something to get these other bowl games in before New Years, the interest just isn't there.

I can't recall a less interesting New Year's slate.

Rose Bowl was the only one to look forward to and it didn't disappoint.

Florida - Iowa, Wisconsin - MAC, Auburn - Oklahoma, zzzzzzzzz

It's better than not watching any football, but get the Citrus back on New Years Day.

Start the Rose at 4, and start the night game at 7:30 instead of 8:30. It's a combo of detox and depression (about returning to work), late game just goes too late on the east coast.

That was a weird ending. Auburn used to be content just scoring 13 points in a Sugar Bowl.

This has been a good night. Both Penn State and Auburn lose.
