They played hard, kept fighting back, got within 2 several times but could not get over the hump and catch the Gators.

SU was the faster and more athletic team. The Gators were quite a bit stronger. Their biggest advantage was at goalie though. Their goalie had a fine game, our goalies struggled most of the game. I think that was the deciding factor.
