Back from the ledge after Lehigh, talking out of both sides of his mouth and his butt again.

Let's just face it, guys and gals. It doesn't matter who SU plays, these three guys will always be on the other bandwagon. It is in their DNA. No objectivity, just agendas.

Say we get by Wisconsin, they'll either be the slobbering all over Jared Sullinger or Yancy Gates...SU has no chance, blah blah blah. Thad Matta, Mick Cronin are better coaches, blah blah blah. It'll be like that all the way. Might as well accept it... and just win baby! I like proving those schmucks wrong anyway.

Those same guys were saying before the tournament Vandy is almost guaranteed a spot in the elite 8 and there's no way Syracuse could beat them without Fab. No mention of Wisconsin. Now that Vandy falters, they all jump aboard that bandwagon. Good for them. More haters to prove wrong.

Loved listening to Dougie this morning. Says Syracuse is better but then lists all the reasons why Wisky will win. We need to turn other teams over, wisky doesn't turn it over. Teams need to hit 3's against, Wisky is a leading 3 point shooting team. Teams need a great PG, Wisky has a great PG.
It's funny how it seems that anaylsts break down Syracuse's weaknesses but rarely do I hear about our opponents weaknesses. He never mentioned what we can exploit about Wisconsin.
I didn't hear about what we can exploit against Kstate either. All I heard was that we can't rebound and they are juggernaut rebounding the ball.
All we need to do is keep winning especially in this historically bad round.

We're getting love from Bilas still. Says we could go all the way.

I couldn't breve how low everyone was selling Wisconsin. They are a very solid team.

given SU's record in the sweet 16, if you're a talking head and need to come up with some talking points for today you'd be crazy not to list SU as a possible upset candidate. There really isn't any downside to them in saying it, so can't blame them for it. Nothing to get worked up over. If they had to put money on the winner of the game - bet they'd all put it on Syracuse as soon as their 'upset city' segment was over.

Lol, IF Wisky can control tempo, and IF Jordan Taylor steps up and IF they stop transition, and IF (names about 8 players) are hitting threes then UPSET CITY BABYYYY.....ummmmm yea Dickie V. youre probably right. If ALL those things happen I would imagine no team in America would beat them.

Exactly. given that the odds (even ignoring the Cuse's checkered record) are that the Orange (anyone) will lose a game before the finals, it's easy to say they will go down. Well, you know, if not this game, the next one...

Say what you will about Dickie V (and I would say a lot), he also said we would go undefeated during the regular season. This was obviously before Melo left the team. I laughed at the remark at the time, but he wasn't that far off. I don't believe he has an agenda, and while I disagree I respect his choice for an upset.

Yeah, I tend to view their stance on this as a fairly basic rationale -- Wisconsin takes care of the ball, makes jumpers, defends, slows the tempo and is playing well. Add that all up and it's a potential upset particularly since, even after a nice half vs. K State, we're still probably not the same team without Fab.
