I dunno maybe. I think when you win the big game, people don't talk about how you won as much as they do in other games.

I don't hear people talking about the Giants not being in the SB because the shouldn't have beaten the 49ers.

I think the notion that there would be complaints even if we win the NC is a commentary on the fact that a segment of our (and every) fan base isn't happy unless we win by 20 and look pretty doing it.
