Syracuse's men's soccer team scored four goals in the first six minutes of the second half and cruised to a 6-0 win over Colgate Monday night at the soccer stadium.
First time I'd ever been to a 'Cuse soccer game. It was a lot of fun. The stadium is pretty decent. It's a bit unfortunate that they don't have video replay as some of the goals were real beauties.
Here's video of Syracuse's second goal. Freshman midfielder Stefanos Stamoulacatos (Camillus) bends a free kick over the wall and off the post, but Jordan Vale slides in the rebound. Vale, a freshman midfielder from New Zealand, scored twice. Stamoulacatos, a U.S. capped player at the youth level, assisted both times.
