SU desperate after a 2-0 loss in the afternoon where Sydney O' Hara's 3 hitter went to waste came from 2 runs down in the 7th to earn a split against the Boston College Eagles.
This weekend SU heads to #1 in the ACC FSU for three games. After that they face #2 VPI for 3 games. They need to win a couple of those games to secure a berth in the ACC playoffs.
Their original #1 pitcher has had a nagging injury all season and their Canandian sensation had to sit out the year. So freshman Sydney O' Hara has had to shoulder the burden on the mound winning 13 of SU's 19 victories.
