Is 5th in the country in assists per game at 7.2.
Did not know that. Way to go Symir! Glad it's worked out for himIs 5th in the country in assists per game at 7.2.
Checked his stats the other night and saw that, how the hell is 7.2 assists a game 5th in the nation? Is 5th in the country in assists per game at 7.2.
1 | Elijah Hawkins | Minnesota | 7.7 |
2 | Darius Brown II | Utah St. | 7.6 |
3 | Isaiah Stevens | Colorado St. | 7.4 |
4 | Savion Lewis | Quinnipiac | 7.3 |
5 | Symir Torrence | Binghamton | 7.2 |
6 | Dajuan Harris Jr. | Kansas | 6.9 |

8 | Braden Smith | Purdue | 6.7 |
9 | Jaquan Carlos | Hofstra | 6.6 |
10 | Jared Bynum | Stanford | 6.6 |
I think college scorekeepers are extremely conservative with what they consider an assist. When MCW was 5th the country in 2013 he “only” averaged 7.3. Symir’s numbers appear to be typical of where the national leaders usually are.Checked his stats the other night and saw that, how the hell is 7.2 assists a game 5th in the nation?
Kadary has been great too.Joe is playing better
Symir is playing better
Q is averaging 11/7. He’s had 2 straight double doubles and scored 28 against Missouri 3 games ago
Kadary still floats at times. He takes a lot of plays off.
I used to think that when he was here until I realized he makes difficult things look so easy and is just all around smooth.Kadary still floats at times. He takes a lot of plays off.
Agree. Making things look Effortless sometimes looks like not giving effort. Kadary has been great and will probably end up 2nd team all Big EastI used to think that when he was here until I realized he makes difficult things look so easy and is just all around smooth.

That team would decimate this team by 20-30 points. How our expatriates are doing:
John Bol Ajak and Jalen Carey entered the transfer portal and never came out.

Could that team beat our present team? I don't know but I think they would shoot the ball better from outside. I'd love to see Maliq Brown guarding Jesse Edwards and Kadary Richmond vs. Judah MIntz. Keep two things in mind: these are older players than our current group who have had a chance to develop their bodies and their games and a couple of them are performing at a lower level of competition. As a group, they were mostly good recruits who, for one reason or another, didn't work out here and have landed in a good spot for them. Good luck to them - and to us.

Nonsense. Cmon. We had those guys and we were barely .500. Half are barely getting off the bench at their current teams. Quincy is like 26 years old. That team would decimate this team by 20-30 points.
Goodine and Braswell are coming off of season ending injuries from last year and Woody is at George Mason nowHow our expatriates are doing:

Having a terrific first half against a very good (and highly ranked) Marquette squad.
Despite the narrative, Richmond's biggest reason for leaving Syracuse was that the coaching staff stopped him from shooting from the three point line and, in his words he needed "to go someplace to show off my entire game." Interesting to see he is shooting 15% for Seton Hall this year from 3 and shooting less than 2 per game.

being 26 is a bonus not a detriment...quincy just put up like 18 and 10 in a close loss to purdue...imagine benny doing that...the board would crashNonsense. Cmon. We had those guys and we were barely .500. Half are barely getting off the bench at their current teams. Quincy is like 26 years old.
15% three point shooters shouldn’t be shooting more than zero a game.JB had his faults but not letting Kadary shoot from 3 ain’t one of them.Despite the narrative, Richmond's biggest reason for leaving Syracuse was that the coaching staff stopped him from shooting from the three point line and, in his words he needed "to go someplace to show off my entire game."
