Syracuse at GTown 2003 Replay - on ACCN now

One thing I noticed is that 2003 kind of changed what fans wore to games at the Dome. Pre-2003, there honestly wasn't all that much orange in the crowd. It was kind of like an NBA game where people just wore whatever. But post-2003, it was a sea of orange for big games.

Regarding the 1985 SU/Gtown game that I watched yesterday, pre three point line basketball was before my time. The strategy is just so much different. It almost feels like you're watching lacrosse or hockey in how they move the ball around trying to get as close as possible before taking a shot since there's no advantage to being further out.

Yes. It used to drive me nuts seeing fans wear gray to games and it still does if I see people in anything other than orange. I feel like Syracuse more than any other fans have had issues getting their fans to wear their teams colors to games.

Remember when baseball fans wore jackets and ties to games?

loss of fundamentals
I think that's a bit of a cliche. If anything I think fundamentals are better than they have ever been. Big men today are expected to pass, shoot and handle the ball more so than ever before.

I remember against Penn State at MetLife a few years back you would see some SU fans wearing blue or white Syracuse t-shirts. I just thought to myself "why are you so bad at such a simple thing?"
