Syracuse Football | 12th Man Atmosphere

A good place to start would be to watch the game from a seat in the stadium, as opposed to eating at 44's for the second half.
that would be true except i was not alone. i had my 4/yo granddaughter who loves the whole day, and my daughter in law who is pregnant with me . the heat was to much for them. maybe you would make them sit through that?--probably.

Yes...yes I would.
I wonder if the hearty folks of College Station Texas know anything about attending games in heat and humidity?
Today's game will be 84 with 91% humidity, and rain. I'm guessing children, and pregnant women will go.
Same last week. It was 91 with 70% humidity. Sell out.
My point isn't to shame someone for going to a game, and watching it in a club. You had reasonable reasons to do so.
My point is, that you just pointed out exactly why we don't have a 12th man atmosphere on par with A&M. People around here generally don't care as much about football, and aren't willing to put up with uncomfortable conditions. In a place like Texas, or Florida, heat, humidity, and not even pregnancy (short of 8 month) would keep a football fan from watching the game.

nice try but you are absurd. i pointed out why i was not there. you have taken that to mean something on another level. now if you want me to comment on the 12th man, 37000 people in a 50000 seat facility is not the 12th man. many of us have been in there when the house was full and screaming---that was a 12th man.

I don’t blame you for heading to Club 44 in the least. If I was at a Rutgers game and they had a bar in the stadium, I would spend the entire game in there whether it was 90 degrees at the game or picture perfect temperatures.

That said, kinda tough to comment on the “12th man” aspect of the crowd when you weren’t in the crowd for the second half...which is when basically all the good stuff happened on the field.

Obviously the Dome with 50,000 is a whole different level, but the place can be really loud and have a large impact on the games even with crowds in the 30,000’s.

Texas A&M or other psycho football factory levels? No. But still a strong home field advantage. More about the building than the fans though.

thats the best u can do???? 44s was packed with people with kids---your 1st paragraph comment resorts to the juvenile and ridiculous.

We certainly don’t fill the place but my God...the ones that do go every game are awesome! I’m nauseated - like most of the die hard here- with the attendance subject. My only comment for the non stop talk about it is...
“Well...I’ll be there.
There are a couple clips from Game of Thrones where they say something along the lines of “1 northerner is worth 10 of them,” or “1 of us is worth a dozen of them.”

I need that clip or a gif of it for any time we play a southern school, or any time someone knocks our attendance.

Lol. Just joking. I completely understand not being in the 90 degree part of the Dome if you were with a 4 year old.

Though I’d be ornery too if Cuse got blown out by Buffalo. Sorry. Had to!
