Stay up late, call in sick tomorrow, whatever have you-- but do everything in your power to get your butts over to the Lally Complex to give the boys a nice homecoming. They've worked extremely hard this season and deserve it!!

I watched. I was nervous. I was excited. And I am very happy they won.

But watching the majority of that game solidified why I can’t stand it. After watching that much soccer, I dislike it more now.

That said, awesome for the Orange and the AD in general.

I never could watch soccer, I found it boring, but I started to follow Christian Pulisic when he was on 60 minutes and I am now hooked on the EPL and USMNT. I live in STL and we have a new MLS team starting in February and I’m excited. I will say that I watched every second of that Cuse game tonight and if I wasn’t an Alum I would have changed the channel in 30 sec. It was a tough watch.

The broadcast was tough I thought also.

I. Just. Can’t . Watch. Soccer.

I did tune in to watch the penalty kicks though. And I can’t stand that PK’s end games. Too much importance on just 2 players. Same as penalty shots in hockey. PLAY UNTIL SOMEONE SCORES!! College football has the best OT.

But, they could still be playing if I had my way.

I like soccer but that was a hard watch. Not even sure we can call that soccer. I have a hard time watching MLS because it is so much behind the top European leagues in quality. This was light years behind the MLS. I kept tuning away and coming back to watch a few mins. I was glad it went to PKs so I could actually stayed tuned.

I get what you’re saying, but that is college soccer, just as there is a different between college football and the pros. And SU plays a more “international” style than most teams. It may not be the highest level of “the beautiful game.” But it can be very entertaining.

Indiana really out worked us in the 2nd half which is hard to believe because they’re the biggest bunch of whiners ever. Must have taken flopping classes from coach K.

The announcers were unbearable and the biggest homers this side of Quint. Im guessing they both graduated from Indiana.

Hard to watch a game where you work so hard to never score.

Play til someone scores. Penalty kicks for a Natty is dumb.

Go Orange. Cool to win a title in any sport.

That was the first college soccer game I've ever watched. A few random thoughts:

-I'm surprised that don't play this game further south like in Florida. It's mid-December, North Carolina is pretty cold.
-A clock that runs down to zero. Such a beautiful thing. I don't know why the World Cup and Premier League have to make the end of games so mysterious.
-So happy for our guys. Those jerseys are awesome.
-Hard not to feel bad for those Indiana kids. They were all sobbing.

Same. First timer.

Agree re going to warmer weather.

Jerseys are sick.

Go Cuse! Starting to really fill up that trophy case!

You would literally faint then if you watched my 6-year-old daughters team when they all run in a big condensed group all over the field and kids have to take breaks in the middle of live action to pee or get water or tell their parents something.

They rotate the site of the finals every year..

When I coached youth soccer we called the U6 games "swarm ball."
