Okay futbol but still a great moment!
Gross did a lot of good things for our Olympic sports.I know it's unfashionable to say nice things about him, but it was the Good Doctor that hired the SU soccer coach.
100%. I was yelling at the TV LOLGood game. I wasn’t optimistic going into kicks from the mark. #9 for IU is like Jacque Cousteau… he’s a diver.
The broadcast was tough I thought also.I never could watch soccer, I found it boring, but I started to follow Christian Pulisic when he was on 60 minutes and I am now hooked on the EPL and USMNT. I live in STL and we have a new MLS team starting in February and I’m excited. I will say that I watched every second of that Cuse game tonight and if I wasn’t an Alum I would have changed the channel in 30 sec. It was a tough watch.
If you're going to group revenue sports and non revenue sports in a stat like that, why not throw in lax and make us look even better?

I get what you’re saying, but that is college soccer, just as there is a different between college football and the pros. And SU plays a more “international” style than most teams. It may not be the highest level of “the beautiful game.” But it can be very entertaining.I like soccer but that was a hard watch. Not even sure we can call that soccer. I have a hard time watching MLS because it is so much behind the top European leagues in quality. This was light years behind the MLS. I kept tuning away and coming back to watch a few mins. I was glad it went to PKs so I could actually stayed tuned.

That was the first college soccer game I've ever watched. A few random thoughts:
-I'm surprised that don't play this game further south like in Florida. It's mid-December, North Carolina is pretty cold.
-A clock that runs down to zero. Such a beautiful thing. I don't know why the World Cup and Premier League have to make the end of games so mysterious.
-So happy for our guys. Those jerseys are awesome.
-Hard not to feel bad for those Indiana kids. They were all sobbing.
You would literally faint then if you watched my 6-year-old daughters team when they all run in a big condensed group all over the field and kids have to take breaks in the middle of live action to pee or get water or tell their parents something.I like soccer but that was a hard watch. What happens when lacrosse is added to the equation?
When I coached youth soccer we called the U6 games "swarm ball."You would literally faint then if you watched my 6-year-old daughters team when they all run in a big condensed group all over the field and kids have to take breaks in the middle of live action to pee or get water or tell their parents something.
