When I coached youth soccer we called the U6 games "swarm ball."

If you're going to group revenue sports and non revenue sports in a stat like that, why not throw in lax and make us look even better?
I imagine the point of grouping football, hoops and soccer is that every D1 school plays them. What happens when lacrosse is added to the equation?
IMO the best thing Gross did was take Olympic sports seriously. Jake C. was a tremendous AD, but it was clear he didn't care much about anything besides football, men's hoops and men's lacrosse.Gross made the hires who've won our last 2 (3?) national championships. And countless ACC/Big East championships, I would guess.

At least in hockey I always feel like the goalie has at least a 50/50 shot at stopping the penalty shot. This was just guess where the guy might kick it - dive that way and hope for the best. I'm amazed they stopped any.I. Just. Can’t . Watch. Soccer.
I did tune in to watch the penalty kicks though. And I can’t stand that PK’s end games. Too much importance on just 2 players. Same as penalty shots in hockey. PLAY UNTIL SOMEONE SCORES!! College football has the best OT.
But, they could still be playing if I had my way.
I prayed and prayed years ago for an SU Football National Championship. Told the big guy he could take me once it happened, I didnt care.
I'm not feeling too great and now I realize I should have been more specific. I thought God was American.

A lot of variety in terms of teams playing. I count 18 different teams represented there. A far cry from D1 Football. They rotate the site of the finals every year..

Ha! Didn’t see your response. That’s what I’ve called it for years. Still… the beauty of soccer is: ask any 6 year old after a game and they all think they played well. As long as they’re running and chasing the ball, they think they contributed.Herd Soccer
I’ve coached from U6 to HS varsity during 25 year coaching span. The herd gradually spreads out at each level. The u6 level are a delight to just watch .Ha! Didn’t see your response. We may be the only school that's won all four.
