You didn't watch Dino's PC after the Wake game?

I thought this year the teams added a new coach to the number they could have? or was that last year?

I think it passed in 2016
We hired Lustig in 2017 when it went "live"

Thoroughly enjoyed the podcast this year. Fantastic job, Im gonna miss it this off season

I think the big question is , who isn’t out recruiting this week?

Stanard is out recruiting doing in-homes on possible flips. Lynch is doing in-homes on commits.

So it sounds like both coaches jobs are potentially safe?

5-7 is disappointing and obviously a step back; but it isn't a disaster. Progress isn't a straight line, and while not ideal, having our floor move from three to five wins a year is progress. Now they have to take that step to consistent good.

Tough thing is the only guaranteed win next year is Colgate.

No guarantees against Liberty, a Schiano led Rutgers team, or Western Michigan. Are all those games winnable? Yes. Are they guaranteed? I would say no.

Parlay I’ll take SU on all three, Shiano is going to take at least a few years to rebuild (if he can) Liberty is not winning in the Dome , and I feel good about beating WMU. Probably wouldn’t pay much though.

Liberty will be toughest of four, but at home we will win.
Rutgers getting at right time, though it may be closer than some would like.
Colgate should be a blood bath.
Western Michigan loses a lot of talented kids and will be in a rebuild mode.

4-0

Ideally we get BC GaTech and FSU early next year as our first three non Clemson ACC games.

If so, 7-1 start is not out of the question.

The finish would be tougher.

Louisville, Wake, Pitt, NC State.

Could go 1-3 to finish.

My Guess:
Clemson
@Rutgers
Colgate
@WMU
Bye
FSU
Liberty
@BC
Georgia Tech
Bye
@Pitt
Louisville
NC State
@Wake Forest

Finish 7-5 or 8-4

Interesting note. Business as usual until it’s not business as usual or things remain status quo, in which case things continue business as usual. It is also interesting that he is being sent to locations on possible flips, given the possible unstable position he sits in. As a parent of a defensive recruit, I would be naturally skeptical of any framing of the staff situation until the proverbial dust settles.

Julian Whigham knows his stuff. I love listening to his takes on anything Syracuse University Football. He and Stephen Bailey did an excellent job with these Podcasts and I sincerely hope they continue them next year. Go Orange!!!!!!!!!

They are all out recruiting. Stanard and Lynch are doing in-homes...along with Babers and Monroe.
