Syracuse football will begin preseason training with a walkthrough on Thursday

Approximately 85 members of the football team are on campus working out. Four international players, Max Mang, Mark Petry, Ben Labrosse and Damien Alford, all entering their first season with the program, have yet to arrive on campus due to issues related to the pandemic.

Preseason practices, with helmets and pads, are set to start Aug. 6. That date is subject to change if the ACC opts to delay its season.

It might be more boring, but maybe we have to do per game averages instead of season totals. It allows for a change in quantity of games at least. Maybe there would be a minimum game requirement to offset a one-off game for a non-regular player. Just spitballing...

Had second walk through today everyone they get in is huge to make up some ground lost in the spring this also is a help to late enrollees that weren’t here for spring. I hope they front load these walk throughs as the plug could get pulled at any time
