I will say having a guy who booms it out of the end zone on every single kickoff is also a weapon.
He also had a couple go out of bounds. I’ll neither forgive nor forget those.
 
Vollono's units at Troy performed well. I suspect there were some personell issues that he struggled to navigate, but in the end the unit became functional if mediocre. I won't be upset if he's retained, which would have shocked me a few weeks ago.
 
The amount of improvement over the last six weeks or so was probably the most I've ever seen in a ST unit in that amount of time at any level of football.

The problem is, that barely got them to average. So it's more of an indictment of Vollono than a compliment.
 
I think finding the right personnel was a big part of the problem early. Once we figured that out, we were fairly solid down the stretch. Kennedy emerged and although he missed one v Yukon, it may have been a poor snap and/or tipped from what I read.
 
I’m on the fence on this. We have rarely punted all year so it’s hard to judge any progress there.
