Syracuse needs Duke to beat Notre Dame for 8th seed

According to laxinteractive.com If Notre Dame defeats Duke, then Syracuse drops to the 9th or 10th seed and will not be hosting a first round game. If Duke beats Notre Dame, than Syracuse is precariously occupying the 8th seed.
