Okay. I hate to be that guy but let us not forget about the guy that wanted legal advice to sue a fortune teller that sold him a faulty love potion. You might be right, and good lord just think about that for a second

That was a crazy conspiracy.yeah this is getting towards that Scoop/point-shaving insanity
Same. Saw it coming a mile away sadly. That ending was brutal.Ugh I had the -16
did u watch the last 1:40?
im not saying anything but wow...they gave up 8 points in the 100 seconds.
all i can say is this: both teams knew the spread for sure.
did u see the drexel coach call timeout down 20 with a minute to go? why?
if youve ever bet on ncaabb...you know the end of this game is not an anomaly.
so all of the FBI stings that turned up all the illegal money being funneled to players wasnt enough to make you curiou? In all seriousness, I'm not a huge fan at all of calling out the integrity of our players and coaches in this manner.
What recent legalization of sports betting are you talking about?so all of the FBI stings that turned up all the illegal money being funneled to players wasnt enough to make you curiou?
what about the recent legalization of sports betting? nothing?
all i can say is Im glad i didnt bet. I have bet NCAABB before and its stuff like this game that keeps me away. this type of things happens on the reg...it cant be an accident.
im not calling anyone out. im talking about certain details of the game that make me wonder...
you see the drexel coach calling timeout at the end of the game with ZERO CHANCE of WINNING...why? was it to remind his players what the spread was?
in the first half i thought the refs were going for the drexel +16 with their BOGUS calls...keeping the game tight.
then symirs 2 or 3 tunrovers in the last minute after impeccable ball control all game...the team favored by 16 up 24 with less than 2 minutes somehow ends up winning by 15 instead and we arent allowed to wonder what is going on ...????
yeah the mobilization of it...coming down the pike. What recent legalization of sports betting are you talking about?
Vegas started it before we won the 1917 National Championship. We only averaged 24 points a game so the spreads were a lot smaller.
Or are you talking about NYS going live with mobile betting? Cause that hasn't happened yet. But did you know in NYS you can go down to your local casino and bet on sports in person. But that's been a few years though, so that's not recent. One thing, however, the NYS casinos don't take action on in state schools, so even if our guys wanted to go over to Turning Stone or Yellow Brick Road they couldn't bet on themselves.
So that leaves the possibility that they went halves with Coltrane Washington, the greatest name since Tyrone Shoelaces, and Coltrane's teammates and the Drexel bus swung by AC on their way upstate. Yup, that's what must have happened.
I don't think you've thought through the full implications of what this means because it requires a conspiracy of mind-boggling scope. The refs cannot manage a game to ensure a team makes or misses shots. There is simply no way to accomplish it without the players being involved.so all of the FBI stings that turned up all the illegal money being funneled to players wasnt enough to make you curiou?

Every time a bad beat occurs you can hear some people claiming that the fix is in. Nothing is further from the truth. How much money do you think it would it take to get a d1 coach or referee to throw a game and potentially risk his career? I’d say at least 10 to 20 thousands dollars, most likely more. Where is this guy gonna spread out that amount of cash without raising any suspicion( cuz there’s not a in the world that’s gonna take 10000 dollars on an early season low level college hoop game). Most will limit you to 1000.00 or less for the game. And for college hoop the opening lines that you can bet on come out at the earliest about 24-36 hours before the game and they limit the amount u can bet on the game at that time. Where is that guy gonna lay out that much money in such a small time period? There are so many safeguards in place now that “fixing “ a game in any sport for a large amount of money is virtually impossible.yeah the mobilization of it...coming down the pike.
the players dont even have to be in on it...is kinda what im getting at...its the whole circus of it. refs and maaaybe coaches is all you need.
why didnt the schools that were proven to be cheating recently...get punished much by the NCAA??????? that doesnt make you suspicious?
last thing --- questions I would love to hear coaches and refs testify under oath how much they know about what the point spread is in games they are involved in. how much are they aware of it during games. are they even aware of the spread? yes or no. bc it seems like they all are when i watch as a neutral.
which, if so, why?
is there some incentive to beating/losing by the spread that the public is unaware of?

The illegal screens were in fact illegal moving screens if those are the "bogus" calls you are talking about. And there you go talking about Symir while at the same time saying you aren't calling any players out. You seem to have trouble keeping straight what you are saying or you just don't tell the truth.so all of the FBI stings that turned up all the illegal money being funneled to players wasnt enough to make you curiou?

well if youve ignored me, I guess you won't hear my response. The illegal screens were in fact illegal moving screens if those are the "bogus" calls you are talking about. I'm done with you. You're going on ignore. I don't have a problem being constructively critical of our players, but when you throw crap out like this calling out their integrity with no true evidence, it's shameful
I figured it was Bet Rivers, the online casino Devo peddles on his podcast, I figure he gets royalties for everyone signed up, that’s a solid affiliate boost by getting the entire team signed up.I re-watched the last 5 minute of the game. I magnified the screen a little bit and saw some interesting things.
- The entire team was on their mobile phones at various points including the Coaches.
- During one of the stoppages I noticed GMac with the whole team around, and he was flipping through the various live bets and discussing which one made most sense.
- When I looked closer they were using Bet365 and making live bets on the game -- I can only presume they were using some sort of IP diversion so they can use live betting sites in New York that would typically not be accessible.
I have noticed the same trend watching college basketball all year. I have seen point guards with the ball in the one hand and their mobile device in the other. You just have to watch closely.
