Was hoping maybe for a little help, guidance, I'm not sure what.

Was trying to buy tickets for this game on Feb 11. First stop was the SU athletics site, which kicked me to Tickermaster. The only stuff they have available is in section 320 and 336, which are basically as far away as you can possibly be. (And they're priced at $43, which seems ridiculous).

Have they really sold that many tickets already? I find that impossible to believe; looking at the ticketmaster seating chart, you'd think they already sold 33-34,000 tickets. Can't possibly be right, can it?

Are they expected to release more tickets as the game gets closer? I can't even really justify paying $40 to sit that far away, though I will if it's my only option. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Might as well just man up and pay $100 to sit in the first level. Check stubhub

Nothign cheaper than $150 for the 100 level! Which I could do, but we're already paying for hotel and some of the people we're going with aren't gonna want to spend that.

It's a huge game, no one should be surprised at how much the tickets are, especially with GameDay in the house. Remember how much the tickets were going for the Nova game?

Gameday is at Uconn, not the Dome this year.

I scalped two tickets for the Nova game. Bought one at a restaurant about an hour before game time from someone who had an extra for $40 for a pretty good 200 level seat and then one for $50 for a 300 level seat. We squeezed both of us into the 200 level row. It was pretty tight.

Even with the sell out, there were still a bunch of scalpers around the dome. My advice if you definitely know you are going is to scoop up the $43 seat. That way at least all of you will definitely sit together.

That was my thought. It seems absurdly expensive, but take it for th e safety. Buddy of mine says he scalped 2 tickets to that game in section 116 for like $35. So I'll grab those tickets, I guess, and maybe I can get some awesome seats for another $40, maybe not.

Im actually gonna make my first trip to the dome ever for the pitt game on jan 16, have the same kinda questions. My plan was just to get cheap 300 level seats, but are they really really really far away? Ive never been to a dome to see a basketball game so i have no idea about the distance. Im used to sitting in the 300s at msg and its fine there, but im sure the carrier dome is a different story. Is it worth it to pay extra to sit in the 100s? I can get row Q in section 104 for like $60 each, 104 is behind the basket which probably isnt the best. Not sure what to do.

I know that. And there are probably 20k fewer seats at UConn. I'm just making a comparison as to why UConn tickets should be a lot more than what people paid for the SU/Nova game, even though the Nova tickets were comparatively high.

Those seats will actually be awesome, those are where the students usually sit, but because they're still on winter break for this game, the Dome will be selling those seats for decent $.

Those are excellent seats, take it from me, I spent six seasons as a student season ticket holder in those sections (did my undergrad and grad work at SU).

Well worth it to get those seats, especially if it's your first time at the dome. Do it and don't even think twice.
